افق رویداد مرزی فرضی در اطراف یک سیاهچاله است که از آن نقطه به بعد، هیچچیز، حتی نور، نمیتواند از کشش گرانشی سیاهچاله فرار کند. هر جسمی که از این مرز عبور کند، به درون سیاهچاله سقوط میکند. ماهیت درونی یک سیاهچاله برای ما ناشناخته باقی مانده است، زیرا هیچ اطلاعاتی نمیتواند از آن فراتر به بیرون برسد.

The event horizon is a theoretical boundary surrounding a black hole. Past this point, nothing, not even light, can escape the black hole’s immense gravitational pull. Any object crossing this boundary is destined to fall into the black hole.
